Frequently Asked Questions

What mental health conditions do you treat in Bella Vista?

Our Bella Vista psychologists work across a broad range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD and eating disorders. Treatment is evidence-based and tailored to each person after a thorough assessment. Our guide to anxiety, stress and trauma is a useful starting point, or call 0410 261 838 to discuss your concerns.

Do I need a diagnosis before booking an appointment?

No. Many mental health presentations overlap, and part of your psychologist's role is to help you understand what you're experiencing. At your first session we complete a comprehensive assessment and plan the next steps together. If you're wondering whether it's time to reach out, this guide on when to seek help for anxiety may help.

Can I claim Medicare rebates for treatment?

Many mental health conditions are eligible for Medicare rebates when you have a GP Mental Health Care Plan and a referral to a registered psychologist. A rebate reduces, but does not usually cover, the full fee. Speak with your GP about eligibility, and contact our Bella Vista clinic to confirm current fees.

Do you offer telehealth for people outside Bella Vista?

Yes. We provide telehealth appointments across NSW alongside in-person sessions at our Bella Vista rooms. Evidence-based approaches such as CBT for anxiety and depression can be delivered effectively online for many people. Our reception is open Monday to Friday, 10am–7pm — call 0410 261 838 to discuss the best option for you.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Many mental health presentations overlap, and you don't need to have a diagnosis before booking. Your psychologist will conduct a thorough assessment at your first session. What matters is that you're struggling — not the label. Book an appointment and let us help you make sense of what you're experiencing.
